Proper Practice

Towels: Carry a towel with you at all times and ALWAYS SIT ON YOUR TOWEL for sanitary reasons. Never go to someone’s camper and sit naked on his or her chair, bed, belongings, etc.  In other words, “Naked butts at a table is a big no-no.”

Alcohol: Always exercise MODERATION and discretion when consuming alcoholic beverages. Drunk is not an excuse for being obnoxious.

Behavior: No means no. Share, laugh, talk and just be yourself. Never touch someone without asking first or be invited to.

Cameras: No photographs or other record able images shall be taken of any persons without their prior permission.

Dress: Bare Acres Retreat is Clothing Optional.  That means you can be dressed or undressed in any way you desire with no pressure.  LINGERIE, UNDERWEAR or SEXY ATTIRE are welcome! 

Smoking: Butt cans are provided for smokers. Please do not throw butts on the ground.  You can also throw them into the fire pit. There will be No Smoking in our House, Restrooms, Pool or spa area, or Rentals. Please smoke in designated smoking area outside the enclosed carport.

Sanitation: The Bare’s den, cub house, rest rooms, and showers are for everyone. Please keep them clean. Make sure lights are out if you are the last one to leave. Your campsite must be left in a clean and orderly condition upon leaving. Do not leave food or garbage unattended outside at any time. (Raccoons, opossums, skunks, cats) Do not dump gray water at or near your camp site.

Pets: Pets are not permitted in public social areas (i.e. Bare’s Den, Pool, Shower House, Cub house and any congregating public areas). Pets must be leashed at all time. Always clean up after your pet. Pets known to have a aggressive behavior are prohibited Never take your pet to someone else’s site/space without asking first.

Pool and Hot tub: No jumping or diving allowed. Swimming is at one’s own risk. Suits are optional. No smoking is allowed in the pool area. Be considerate of others: Use the bathroom before you go into the pool—and leave the water if you need to take care of business. Don’t use glass containers.

Depending on the spa temperature, limit soaks to 30 minutes. Drink water to stay hydrated.

Failure to observe these rules, common courtesy with others, adequate safety measures while on the grounds, will result in eviction.

In the highly unlikely event that you encounter a problem or any inappropriate behavior from anyone, please inform us immediately.

Bare Acres does not operate a restaurant or snack bar on the grounds so it will be necessary to bring food or snacks with you. We do have ice available for a small fee. There are two refrigerators for food storage.

Additionally, a full kitchen with electric stove, refrigerator and cooking utensils are available in the Bare’s den and cub house. Gas grill, griddles and smoker available outside for guests.
If you prefer, there are a couple of good restaurants within a short drive from the grounds. Check with us for recommendations and directions.
